daniel negreanuDaniel Negreanu is originally from Romania where his parents moved over to America in the search for a better quality of life, by the age of 16 Daniel Negreanu was spending the majority of his time in pool halls, betting and playing cards, at a very early age Daniel dropped put of high school and began his carer as a rounder player in the local charity casino, he then started looking for illegal games around the city to try and build himself a bankroll he left Toronto at the age of 21 with enough of a bankroll to try and peruse a professional poker career in Las Vegas however the strip got to him on his first effort and he ended up coming back home to try and rebuild a bankroll.

After which point he has never looked back Daniel is one of the games most feared players with an array of titles to his name including. Two world poker final events in 1997 which bagged Daniel $55,064, Negreanu followed this up by becoming the youngest ever WSOP bracelet winner in 1998 when he took home $167,460 in the $2,000 pot limit Holdem event, Daniel kept his crown as youngest ever winner right up until 2004. From there he just went from strength to strength bagging himself a further 3 wsop bracelets as well as 12 final table appearances. He also won 2 world poker tour events and was named wsop players of the year in 2004 and the following year in 2005 was named world poker tour players of the year. In 2005 Daniel launched his own poker room Full Contact poker where he would often play under the name “kidPoker” in 2007 Daniel Negreanu singed for PokerStars, as part of a team of elite professionals that play at PokerStars. Daniel recorded his single biggest tournament win in November 2008 where he netted himself a very healthy $299,951 in the British Columbia poker championships.

Due to his many high profile wins Daniel Negreanu has a very impressive live tournament winnings total of $11,200,000 which is the 2nd highest prize money of all time and the highest money for a player who has never won the coveted WSOP main event.
