Multi Table Tournament Strategy - Middle Tournament Play
Once you have allowed the majority of the fishy and really loose players play them selves out of the game leaving the good and the fair players remaining you can be said to be in middle MTT play.
This is where you should loosen up from your early tournament play and try to play more to your natural style while being more ready to play the odd raise with hands that are more in the middle range of cards such as QJ off suit if, in position with only one or 2 players in front of you could be worth little raises here and there for two main reasons As you get closer to the payment positions of a tournament you will find that some players start to let this fact play on there mind and the revert to ultra tight plays to try and insure that they are not knocked out prior to the paid positions, and hopefully you have gained yourself a good table image based on your early tournament play.
This also means that as you progress through the middle stages to start to play some well timed bluffs as you want to be looking to enter the final table with at least the average chip stack, possibly higher.
Basically through the middle parts of a multi table tournament you want to be looking at adopting your regular ring game play, consisting of taking small gambles for good returns as once you get to the final table chip stacks tend to do a bit more talking than the cards your are holding.
